Our Pro Shop Staff has over 30 years of combined experience laying out and drilling bowling balls.
 
We use state of the art layout tools from Jayhawk for those of you who want and need precise measurements from your Positive Axis Point for specific layouts and drillings.
 
Our staff also includes a PBA Member & Champion. He has been on Ebonite's PBA Regional Staff and is now currently on Brunswick's PBA Regional Staff.

Finger Inserts
A comfortable grip is essential for a good release. Installing finger inserts to your ball can provide you with a consistent grip that will allow the same feel everytime you throw the ball.

Thumb Inserts
Our Bowlerstore.com Pro Shops offer several different ways to drill your thumb hole. For an optimal fit, we recommend that you send us your bowling ball that feels the best to you. We can then create a custom mold of your thumb hole that we can use to create a thumb slug that will feel identical to the thumb hole on your favorite ball. If you have not had to work out your thumb much, then just the standard thumb insert will work great as well. We also utilize High End Mill/Drill machines to match up and drill oval holes if desired.

How your ball is drilled will determine the amount of reaction your ball will receive depending on your style of bowling. Some bowlers prefer the ball to go longer down the lane before hooking. Some prefer a smoother type of roll and and earlier roll. How would you like us to drill your bowling ball?

Professional Custom Drilling Services Terms & Conditions

All bowling balls are drilled using the specs given to us by the customer or copied from the ball sent to us by the customer.

Bowlerstore.com does not guarantee the fit of the ball or the ball reaction. However, we do guarantee that we will drill the ball to the specifications submitted to us.

All bowling balls will be drilled using our state-of-the-art Mill/Drilling Machines by a certified professional ball driller.

To request pin placement, top weight, or gross weight, please enter your notes as clearly as possible in the Notes Section.

If no requested drilling layout is given, bowling balls will be drilled using the Manufacturer's reccommended layout for that ball. If finger inserts are added to your purchase they will not be glued in so that adjustments may be made before gluing.

Thumb holes will receive a minimal amount of bevel so that each individual can customize it to their liking.

All measurements will be kept on file for future use. Any ball purchased with the Professional Drilling option may not be returned for any non-manufacturer warranty issues.
